Join us for a gathering of 150+ Native college students representing more than 50 tribes and ask once again: “Would Jesus Eat Frybread?” This year's theme is "Creator's Path of Beauty & Harmony," an exploration of Creator Sets Free's (Jesus's) teaching about the abundant, resilient life in John chapter 10.

The Would Jesus Eat Frybread? conference (WJEF) is a gathering for Native students who come from across North America and Pasifika to:
- Meet other Native college students who are investigating following Jesus while honoring their peoples, cultures, and traditions.
- Learn from tribal elders as they offer their wisdom, experiences, and stories.
- Learn to walk in beauty in the midst of abuse and oppression by following the Jesus way.
- Share the gifts that Creator has placed in your culture.
- Seek healing through prayer.
- Discover your place in the story of hope and restoration that Creator is writing.
- Be sent back to your campus with a full belly and a happy heart.

REGISTRATION / COST
COST: $325 for most (follow link for details), which includes hotel, meals, and transportation while at the conference (but not transportation to get to Phoenix). The commuter option is for students who live in Phoenix/Scottsdale/Salt River and will not be staying in the Holiday Inn hotel.
You will need a Facebook account (or create a Relay account as you register), your basic contact information, and a credit card. If you don't have your flight number at the time of registration, be sure to e-mail it to [email protected] upon booking flight so we can arrange shuttles. Email Luke for any other special registration cases.

SCHOLARSHIPS
InterVarsity Scholarship form should be filled out by a campus minister/staff. If you don't have a campus staff, you may fill it out yourself.
LOCATION
The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community near Scottsdale, Arizona.
Housing is in the Holiday Inn Hotel by Old Town, Scottsdale. Most sessions will be at the Lehi Community Center, SRPMIC. |
TRAVEL
Transportation to Phoenix/Salt River is NOT included in conference cost. (However, scholarships for transportation may be available. Ask your ministry team leader how to obtain financial assistance for flights.)
If flying, arrive by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Please book your flights to arrive in Phoenix before 3:00 PM on Friday, Nov 8th. This will allow us get a shuttle provided for you to get to the hotel. If that is not possible, contact [email protected] (612-719-4667) to see if there are other people who your can ride with. Even if you plan to arrange & pay for your own shuttle to the hotel we will need to know that so that you are accounted for.Please check back regarding shuttle service to the hotel.**

Departure: Your conference cost includes the Sunday night hotel stay and breakfast on Monday morning, however, if you need to leave on a red-eye flight we can arrange a shuttle to the airport after the final evening session on Sunday evening.
If you need assistance booking your flight, please contact a ministry staff person who will going to WJEF. You will need to give your legal name and closest city/state airport to you and preferred flights for them to start looking at tickets.
Please contact conference organizers if you are traveling with children.
